POSITION PROFILE

The Business Analyst will act as a key strategic partner to the Country Manager, providing data-driven insights, monitoring KPIs, and supporting the analysis and optimization of profitability, efficiency, and business performance. This role is ideal for a highly organized, number-oriented professional with a strong understanding of digital business dynamics.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Commercial Performance Analysis

  • Analyze sales performance, revenue trends, and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities.
  • Break down commercial performance by product, channel, customer segment, and region.
  • Highlight underperforming areas and recommend actionable strategies to improve results.

Sales & Marketing KPIs

  • Define and track KPIs related to sales, conversion rates, customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Build and maintain performance dashboards for commercial teams and leadership.
  • Provide regular reporting to monitor campaigns, channel efficiency, and sales funnel metrics.

Profitability & Pricing Support

  • Evaluate pricing strategies and their impact on margin and competitiveness.
  • Support commercial decision-making through contribution margin and ROI analysis.
  • Assist in developing promotional strategies and assessing their financial impact.

Forecasting & Revenue Planning

  • Support sales forecasting and pipeline analysis in coordination with the commercial team.
  • Provide scenario modeling and projections to inform quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Help identify market trends and anticipate commercial challenges.

Strategic Insights 

  • Provide commercial insights to support strategic planning and go-to-market decisions.
  • Prepare performance briefs, sales analysis, and business cases for new commercial initiatives.
  • Act as a business partner to the Country Manager in tracking execution against growth plans.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success to align targets and share insights.
  • Support the integration of commercial goals with operational planning and resource allocation.
  • Translate data into narratives that guide the commercial team’s strategy.

Customer and Market Intelligence

  • Analyze customer behavior, churn, and feedback to inform sales and marketing strategies.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market shifts to support commercial positioning.
  • Assist in segmentation analysis and targeting strategies for growth initiatives.

Performance Improvement & Process Optimization

  • Identify inefficiencies in sales processes, CRM usage, or lead management workflows.
  • Recommend improvements to tools and processes that drive commercial team effectiveness.
  • Promote a data-driven culture across the commercial organization.

QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATIONS)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field (MBA a plus).
  • 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, strategy, finance, or related roles (ideally in a digital or tech-driven company).
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and business intelligence tools.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and financial models.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
