Key Responsibilities:

  • Candidate is responsible for leading projects from initial planning through development and all implementation processes.
  • Directs and monitors work efforts daily, identify resource needed, perform quality reviews and escalate functional, quality and timeline issues as appropriate.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
  • Understand company requirements and how they translate in application features and collaborate with the team. May lead cross-functional teams to address business or systems issues.
  • Collaborating extensively with all contributors and communicating expectations throughout the project, providing daily and weekly updates to key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Create implementation solutions that require input from cross-functional teams that are imaginative, thorough, practical and consistent with the organization's objectives.
  • Coordinates communications with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being organized.
  • Precedents are generally available for decisions, but not all situations fall within the guidelines of standard practice.

Skills and Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years IT Project Management
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Information Systems or related PM discipline
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus.
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing in Spanish and English
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with all levels of management.
  • Displays a strong ability for self-direction and shows a high degree of initiative.
  • Teamwork, success oriented and time management skills
  • Possess strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret documents and procedure manuals, write reports and correspondence, conduct meetings and calls
  • Experience with generation of Statement of Work, work breakdowns, estimating, and proposals.
  • Excellent desktop software skills – MS Office Suite, MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio.
  • Competent and strong understanding of project system life cycle (SDLC), business processes and operating systems.
  • Availability to travel 20% of time.
  • Able to work without supervision
