POSITION PROFILE

 

The Senior Finance Manager will play a critical leadership role in managing the company’s financial operations and strategy. This role is responsible for overseeing the P&L, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, and guiding key financial decisions. The ideal candidate will combine deep financial expertise with strong business acumen to drive profitability, identify growth opportunities, and support strategic initiatives in a tech-driven environment.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Financial Strategy & Planning

  • Lead and coordinate the company’s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Provide strategic financial insight to senior leadership to support decision-making.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

P&L Ownership

  • Manage full P&L, ensuring alignment with business goals and profitability targets.
  • Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.                              

Business Partnering

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Operations, Product) to align financial strategies with business objectives.
  • Support go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and investment decisions with sound financial analysis.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare accurate, timely financial reports for internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, GAAP, and internal controls.

Project Management

  • Lead and manage finance-related projects, including system implementations, process improvements, cost optimization initiatives, and cross-functional transformation efforts.
  • Drive project planning, execution, and reporting, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure project milestones, risks, and dependencies are effectively communicated and managed.

 

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor finance staff; build a high-performing finance team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making.

Other Responsibilities

  • Ability to lead through organizational change, including the transition to shared services models, M&A integrations, and global process standardization.
  • Additional tasks and/or responsibilities may be assigned by your team leader as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATIONS)

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • Experience:
  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally in a technology or digital services company.
  • Proven experience managing P&L, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS, recurring revenue models, and digital product economics.
  • Exceptional analytical, modeling, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Dynamics 365 a plus).
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
